Changelings: 7-10yrs @ 4.30pm - 5.30pm
Amazons: 10-12yrs @ 5.30pm - 6.30pm
Rude Mechanicals: 12-14yrs @ 6.45pm - 8.00pm
Athenians: 14-16yrs @ 8.00pm - 9.15pm
Shadows: 16-19yrs @ 8:45pm- 10pm *NEW CLASS*

Workshops take place at Trinity Theatre unless stated otherwise.

Trinity Youth Theatre Courses And Workshops

TYTC Audition Technique Course
Sat 17 Jan | Sat 24 Jan | Sat 31 Jan | 2pm – 5pm

This course is for young actors who wish to gain the sort of experience that will strengthen their chances of completing an audition with success and to the best of their ability. It will focus on audition speeches, performance, an insight into the audition process and what casting agents look for. As we’re entering audition season for NYT, drama schools and scholarships, there’s no better time than the present to get yourself prepared.

TYTC Stage Combat Course
18 – 19 Feb | 10am – 4pm

For the first time ever, Trinity Youth Theatre Company is giving you the opportunity to kick-ass like a pro. This two-day intensive workshop will teach you the basics of hand-to-hand stage combat, creating your own fight sequence inspired by some of the greatest action films of our time. You’ll even get to take home a DVD of your work. What are you waiting for? You could have your vengeance, in this life or the next.

TYTC Stop Motion Animation Course
Wed 18 – Fri 20 Feb | 10am – 4pm

Ever wanted to make your own film, but didn’t know where to start? Or do you like to make ordinary objects come to life? Back by popular demand, our three-day course will teach you the basics of storytelling, production and stop motion animation. All involved will receive a DVD of their work as well as having their films showcased on our YouTube channel.  Don’t miss the chance to take part in this fantastic and unique cinematic opportunity!

TYTC Puppet-Making Course
8 – 9 Apr | 10am – 4pm

Want to create a puppet? Then why not come along to our puppet-making workshop. Lucy Bailey is a professional puppet maker, who will show you the strings in this unique two-day course. You will even walk away with a creation or two of your own. An opportunity to give things a life of their own, this course will tap into your creativity in a new and exciting way as well as looking at movement, construction and aesthetics.

TYTC Short Film Course
15 – 17 Apr | 10am – 4pm

Create and star in your own short film, in this exciting and unique three-day short film course! Taught by professional film maker Samuel Marlow, in a small team, you will be taught the basics of story boarding, script writing and filming, as well as creating your own short film. You will even receive a DVD of your work, which will also be broadcast on our Trinity Youth Theatre Youtube channel.

The Kent Family Arts Network

Kent Family Arts Network (KFAN) was started in early 2014 by a group of Kent organisations with a passion for presenting and producing work for families in the county.

Trinity is proud to be part of this new network supporting the arts in the community.
