School Of Shock!
Sat 25 Sep 2010 10-1pm
Week One - Story and Screenwriting
Sponsored by
In the first week we will look at horror films, past and present (carefully selected to be suitable to the students). We will discuss what horror is, what makes it scary and how these techniques can be used in our movie.
Working in small groups, the students will be asked to come up with an idea for a horror film, which they will then pitch to the rest of the group. The most appropriate story will be decided on by the group, and taken to the next stage of writing.
Students should come to the group with an idea about what is the scariest film they have seen, and why they found it scary!
