BURNING SHAPES
Burning Shapes are a 4 piece rock band from Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks who produce driving anthems combined with spellbinding harmonies. Paul says “Burning Shapes are superb live and their songwriting and vocal quality is truly first class. They are producing cutting edge rock music with just the right amount of pop sensibilities layered within their sound, which makes them very accessible to a wide ranging audience. They are described as sounding like Fleet Foxes got into a jam session with Kasabian and Paul Weller, however to cut a long story short…. ‘absolutely brilliant’ is how I would describe them!”.
THE GOOD SHIP BAND
The Good Ship Band is a four-piece electric folk/rock outfit from Tonbridge, Kent. Formed in March 2009, the band sold out their first gig at the revered 100 Club and have received 9 record deal offers to date; testimony to their relentless gigging throughout the South East and an irresistibly melodic debut album. Propelled by the songsmithery of frontman Jez Harley and guitarist/signed songwriter Ed Bingham (NorthStar Music), the band draw influence from classic songwriting greats such as Bruce Springstein, Simon & Garfunkel and the Dave Matthews Band.
THE PAUL DUNTON ORCHESTRA
The Paul Dunton Orchestra will open proceedings at 8pm. Paul's orchestra is comprised of 6 Cellos, 10 Violins, Flute, bass, guitar, piano alongside vocalists Charlotte Andrew, Jenny Maslin and Fiona Keeler.
