Are you interested in volunteering at Trinity? Volunteering can be a great opportunity to make new friends, learn and gain new skills, and help give something back!

Trinity was brought to life with volunteers and has continued with a large volunteer base which helps the theatre thrive. Without the help and enthusiasm of all our volunteers, the theatre would not survive so help is always appreciated!!

There are opportunities available in the following departments:

Front of House Volunteering

The Front of House volunteers make sure that the performances run smoothly whilst looking after the audience members. It’s a great chance to see how a theatre runs whilst being part of a great team of friendly volunteers. This role is great for people who are confident and friendly, and calm in a crisis! We have both general volunteer positions and skilled volunteer positions available in this department.

Garden Volunteering

Our beautiful and historic garden offers tranquillity in the heart of Tunbridge wells, if you have green fingers and are keen to get stuck in, our gardening club meets every other Thursday morning. Contact our Front of House Manager on for more details.

Box Office Volunteering

The Box Office volunteers are the ‘face of Trinity’. They deal with ticket sales and help with patrons’ enquiries which could be anything! This is great for those who are good with computers, have a cool head and a happy persona.

Office Volunteering

Volunteering in the office is a great chance to gain experience working in a theatre as you will help Trinity staff with the crucial day-to-day running of Trinity. You will get to experience many of the different aspects of the venue with a selection of diverse tasks.

We also offer a number of fixed-term internships tailored towards students and those wishing to pursue a career in the arts industries.

Technical Volunteering

If you love film and would be interested in volunteering as a Cinema Technician approx. one evening per week, Technical Volunteering may be for you. You will ensure that the film starts and continues to run well whilst enjoying the film yourself!

Please note that for Admin volunteers and interns we can only accept volunteers aged 16 and over and the Front of House, Box Office and Technical Volunteers can only accept volunteers aged 18 and over.

We receive a huge amount of requests for volunteering, which is brilliant, however, it does mean that we may take a few weeks in replying to your request.
