Trinity Theatre Bursary Program
The aim of the scheme is to award bursaries of £500 to two students with the intention of supporting artists in their development during their first year of studies and to ideally foster new long term relationships between Trinity and young artists.
The program is open to students of any theatre arts and would include any kind of performance art e.g. acting, music, directing etc. The program is intended to be wide ranging it its offer but applications should reference the relevance to performing arts.
Applications should be made using the application form provided. Funding will be targeted to those that want a career in the performing arts and those that wish to engage positively and enthusiastically with Trinity.
In addition to the financial bursary, successful candidates would be encouraged to engage with Trinity throughout their period of study e.g. during holidays. The intention would be to build a relationship with the organisation and potentially provide other opportunities for the successful candidate.
Applications will be shortlisted by Trinity's Youth Engagement Manager and will be presented to a Trinity Board Subcommittee for final selection. Selections made will be final and winning applicants will be contacted by the 14th September.
The award will be £500 per student and will be awarded in the following form:-
