He started working in private practice and for the last 16 years of his career worked for a private investor/developer. Following his degree, and having worked for a couple of years, he became a qualified member of the RICS in 1986, and now has a mixed commercial and residential background. He has advised commercial developers and landlords as a property consultant for leading Surveying Practices in London, and latterly has undertaken large developments and asset management, as principal.
