Step into the enchanted world of Broadway’s classic, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, an international sensation that has been produced in 37 countries worldwide. Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature, the stage version includes all of the wonderful songs written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice. The original Broadway production ran for over thirteen years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

Cast
Everyone who signs up to the cast will take part, with the audition workshop (and video auditions) used to determine who gets named roles and which group in the ensemble you are in.
It costs £330 to take part in the cast (payable in whole or in three instalments), which includes a show hoodie, digital show photos and two weeks of rehearsals and training led by a team of talented professional artists.
You can pay in whole upfront or in instalments which are due by the following dates (Instalment 1 is needed to confirm your space, which are allocated first-come, first-served):
- Instalment 2: 17 April
- Instalment 3: 17 May
Our shows often have waiting lists, and so refunds are only possible if we are able to find someone else to take your space. This is often not possible after parts have been allocated.
No one should be unable to take part because of financial constraints. Bursaries from The Elliott Foundation are available for those on low incomes. Please contact education@trinitytheatre.net for more information.
