AMY GLEDHILL
Amy is a comedian, actor and writer from Hull who brims with natural warmth and charm.
Her authentic, comic voice won her the prestigious BBC Caroline Aherne Bursary 2019
She’s one half of Edinburgh Award nominated / Chortle Award winners – The Delightful Sausage. They made their TV debut on Harry Hill’s Clubnite and have since popped up on Sky and More 4. They enjoyed a two week run at the Soho Theatre with their critically lauded show, Ginster’s Paradise, described as “funny and hilariously sinister” by The Times.
As a stand up, she has won multiple national competitions with her unique blend of confessional stories, intelligent observations and ridiculous, off-beat daftness. This summer she returned from the Fringe with a Best Newcomer nomination for her show, to go alongside a second main prize nod for the Sausage. She’s the funniest, daftest big sister that you’ve ever met.
“Silly, vivacious and very funny.” Richard Herring
“Gledhill is a name to watch.” Evening Standard
