The trap is set… who will make it out alive!

TTC presents Ira Levin’s multi award winning, classic murder mystery masterpiece Deathtrap, which still holds the record for the longest running thriller comedy on Broadway. This ingeniously constructed play offers a rare and skilful blending of two priceless theatrical ingredients – gasp inducing thrills and wicked black humour.

Unknown dramatist Clifford Anderson has sent his new tour de force thriller to award winning Broadway author Sidney Bruhl for comment. Struggling to overcome a dry spell which has created serious shortage of funds, Sidney plots with his wife Myra about how best to steal the masterpiece from Clifford. Once the plot is set it’s time to invite the playwright to tea… events then quickly take a sinister, murderous turn.

Who is innocent? Who is duplicitous? Who survives?

From the man who brought you “Rosemary’s Baby” and “The Boys from Brazil”, Deathtrap is a deliciously dark play full of twists and turns and suspense with a surprising conclusion that will leave the audience breathless and on the edge of their seat.

A play to kill for..!

This amateur production of “Deathtrap” is presented by special arrangement with Samuel French Ltd, a Concord Theatricals Company.
