Detailing Delight: The Puppetry Art of Rust & Stardust
Since 2015, theatre company Rust & Stardust has been creating extraordinarily detailed puppets and touring acclaimed original works around Great Britain. Enriched and inspired by English folklore, magic and history, their work is underpinned by sustainability and traditional craft and costume techniques. This exhibition showcases over a dozen of their puppets, from the mythical Wild Man of Orford to the hell-hound Black Shuck.
Meet the company’s directors Eleanor and Katie on the afternoon of Saturday 12th October, when they will be hosting a drop-in family workshop, and catch them performing Tweethearts on Sunday afternoon at the Pantiles.
This exhibition is part of Tunbridge Wells Puppetry Festival
