Friends Of The Earth - Our Planet: Celebration & Concern
Full Description
Following the success of our debut exhibition in 2022, this autumn, Tunbridge Wells Friends of the Earth is curating an environmental art exhibition, entitled ‘Our Planet: Celebration & Concern’. The theme this year is two-fold, either or both: ‘A Celebration of Nature’ and/or ‘Concern for the Biodiversity Crisis and Climate Emergency’.
The 3-week exhibition will bring together artists of all ages and experience from across Tunbridge Wells borough, with works of art including paintings, poems, sculptures, drawings and photographs. We are taking submissions from now until a few weeks before the event, and will then invite artists to show specific works at Trinity. We welcome work from any individual and across any artistic medium.
So, if you feel inspired to create new work or have got work already that fits within the theme, please do submit your creations to us via email.
Also, anyone is warmly invited to join us between 18th September and 8th October at Trinity Theatre to view the exhibition, which will be free to attend for the general public.
If you would like to know more or have a query/submission, please visit our website: www.tunwellsfoe.co.uk or email us at: tunwellsfoe@gmail.com
