What is Movie in a Week?
Join us for Trinity Youth Theatre’s Movie in a Week Summer Blockbuster!
Building on our popular filmmaking workshops and Movies in a Week, we will be creating a short film over the course of a week, filming on location with you making up the cast and crew. Ideal for people who want to act on screen, behind the scenes, or a bit of both.
There will be some outdoor filming, so you will need to bring appropriate footwear.
You will receive a form after signing up asking whether you want to be part of the cast, crew or both!
Our Summer of Fun!
We are planning a whole Summer fun. Here’s just some of the things we have coming up:
- Mon 26 – Fri 30 July – Show in a Week: Winnie the Pooh Kids (ages 5-11)
- Mon 26 July – Sat 7 August – Sister Act cast and orchestra (ages 12-21)
- Mon 9 – Sat 14 August – Show in a Week: Matilda Jr (ages 8-14)
- Mon 23 – Fri 27 August – Movie in a Week (ages 13-19)
Filming will be Monday 23 to Friday 27 August 10am – 5pm with the opportunity to help as part of the crew, perform or both!
Cast and crew will receive an invite to the premiere of the film on the big screen at Trinity; a digital download of the film and a A3 movie poster with their names as a memento.
“The rest of the family really enjoyed watching it- he loved doing it, thank you! Very much hope he can do more in the future!”
