Royal Tunbridge Wells Orpheus Male Voice Choir
Royal Tunbridge Wells Orpheus Male Voice Choir is delighted to perform at Trinity again after a successful concert last year. Singing another wonderful selection of songs from musicals, pop classics, modern and traditional pieces.
The Orpheus is the town’s only Male Voice Choir and throughout its 87-year existence has entertained audiences with a wide-ranging repertoire sung with rich four-part harmonies. The Bennett Memorial Junior Choir, with Director Lisa Davis, join us as guest performers, so come, sit back, relax, and enjoy a captivating evening’s entertainment comprising great sounds from a rich variety of musical genres.
The choir is led by inspirational Musical Director Kent Lee, whose professionalism, coaching skills and enthusiasm enable the choir to enjoy singing and improving the choir’s sound quality, ably supported by Accompanist and Assistant MD, Adam Crane.
The choir is a charity, renowned for working tirelessly at fundraising to benefit local charities. We have staged concerts in aid of funds for causes such as the Hospice in the Weald, Tonbridge Dementia Friendly Society and we regularly sing for local Care Homes. The choir has been described as “an asset to the town”
