Who is running the workshop?
The workshop is organised by Trinity Theatre Youth and Learning and being run by facilitators from the brilliant BlocoFogo Samba Band, a community drumming band from Kent.
Bloco Fogo means Band of Fire. When they play the band combine amazing rhythms and infectious energy to create a fiery show of colour, sound and movement.
All facilitators are DBS-checked.
What do I need to bring?
Key things: a water bottle, a snack and bundles of enthusiasm!
Participants should wear loose and comfortable clothing and footwear for the day. While we will try to ensure everyone returns home clean, please wear clothes you do not mind getting a bit dirty.
Our fantastic Kitchen and Bar serves food and drink throughout the day which can be purchased but please note children will be responsible for any money they bring with them. They will not be allowed to go off site during the day.
How does the workshop run?
There are two different workshops, one for ages 7 – 11 (10am – 12.30pm) and another for ages 12 – 16 (1.30pm – 4pm).
Please make sure you / your child signs in and out. If the participant is making their own way home please notify us in the morning, or we will assume that they are being collected.

Our Youth and Learning team will meet you in the Trinity Theatre foyer fifteen minutes before the workshop starts.
What if I have extra requirements?
If the participant has any access requirements (for example, dyslexia, autism, ADHD, or a physical disability) please also notify us via email@example.com and we can make sure that any required access arrangements are put in place, in order for them to get full enjoyment of the day.
