Trinity Youth Theatre: Weekly Street Dance Workshops

For School Years 6+

Street Dance workshops for everyone – no experience required!

Street dance includes styles such as breakdancing, popping and locking. The classes will include a warm up working on technique and routines for upcoming performances. They will be taught by Emily McAllister-Brown who trained at The London Studio Centre and is affiliated to ISTD and RAD. She has performed professionally at The Brit Awards, Pop videos and The Closing Ceremony of The London 2012 Olympics. The classes are for all levels of ability, a fun high energy class for all budding dancers.

Our workshops are a superb way to build confidence, develop skills and make friends.

New members can sign up for a free one-week taster session to decide if it is for them. If it is, they will have their space ready for them to sign up for the rest of the term. Please note that Youth Theatre spaces are non-refundable.

There is also the option to pay weekly or if you sign up for the full term, there is a 20% discount.

We know times are currently financial tough for some families, and don’t want anybody who wants to come to be put off by the price. We have bursaries available via The Elliott Fund for those who need financial support.

All of our groups are led by experienced, DBS-checked professional youth theatre leaders. Please see Trinity Theatre’s Safeguarding Policy for more information.

Sessions are held at Trinity Theatre on Tuesdays 4.30pm – 5.30pm.
