Why Donate to Trinity?
It’s no secret that everyone at team Trinity loves what we do. Whether it’s our community programmes or our performances, we know that our work here enriches lives, from toddlers to pensioners, and everyone in between.
Whilst we are used to talking about what we do, the current financial climate means that, as a charity, we also need to talk urgently about how we fund our work, both now and in the future. The government grants that used to provide vital support are now almost non-existent, and so focusing on our own, sustainable fundraising has become central to our survival.
A huge part of our fundraising strategy will draw from you, our community. Trinity was built by its people twice: first as a church, and now as a theatre and arts centre. And crucially, both times, Trinity endured because it was built to fulfil a need: perhaps our amazing community have always been so good at giving because Trinity has always given so much back. Trinity’s core function remains constant: existing as a safe, inclusive, welcoming space to bring it’s community together.

Any amount you feel able to give will not just be hugely appreciated, but put to very good use indeed. From restoring our heritage building to running our community programmes at low or no cost, from maintaining dramatic stage lights, replacing auditorium heating to enabling our Youth Theatre to express themselves on stage, we ensure each and every penny has a purpose. And whatever its use, all money goes towards our overarching goal, supporting our community.

The iconic Trinity Church building is maintained and preserved by Trinity Arts Centre with no core funding. Trinity is a pinnacle landmark in the centre of Tunbridge Wells. Please donate as little or as much as you can to help us look after this heritage building for the town. Your donation will make a difference to our audiences and your community for years to come.
Support our Creative Community Engagement
Trinity works with a vast range of people across its participation activities, including our Youth Theatre (with free and bursary spaces available to some), our work with older adults, and projects with schools, colleges and community groups. Financial support ensures we can keep costs to these groups down as much as possible.

Our charitable objectives include:
-Promoting Drama, Music, Dance and the Arts generally for the benefit of the community of Tunbridge Wells and district
-To maintain, develop and manage a Theatre and Arts Centre
-To maintain and preserve the Trinity Theatre building for the long term benefit of the community of Tunbridge Wells and district
-To establish and maintain a heritage attraction and provide other educational or cultural facilities and activities for the benefit of the public
