Monday 19th July sees the re-opening of the country and a gear change in directives from the government with all restrictions being removed, which we look forward to with cautious optimism.
With the emphasis on safety protocols moving from law to optional and guidance determined by each individual venue or business, we wanted to run through what will and will not change at Trinity as of next week.
Will staff still wear masks?
Until we feel closer to this being ‘properly over’, then yes, our team will still wear masks for all indoor settings or when serving food. We encourage our team to take weekly COVID tests, and the majority have received at least one vaccine.
Will visitors have to wear masks?
Mask wearing is entirely your own choice. We will continue to have masks available in the venue should you require them, and we will make you feel comfortable whatever your preference.
Will we need to check-in at Trinity using the NHS Track & Trace App?
We will still have the QR codes displayed in key locations, and although this is no longer a legal requirement, we will be encouraging continued use.
Will social distancing be in place?
We’re lucky to have a sufficiently large venue to make this less of an issue especially in our garden and foyer, and our auditorium will re-open in full for our Autumn season starting in September.
How many people can I visit with or book tickets for?
The rule of six will no longer apply; we can accommodate larger groups for lunch and meet-ups. Why not restart your book club, perhaps revisit the leader board with a welcome back game of chess, the less victorious buying lunch!
Performance bookings from September onwards will return to normal with our theatre returning to full capacity – some events have almost sold out, don’t miss your return visit!
When will your in-person box office re-open?
We hope September will see the return of our physical box office. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask our Kitchen & Bar team onsite (Wednesday – Friday) to arrange for you to speak with a marketing team member.
