Sara Rice · International Women’s Day 2021 Staff Highlight

All, Interviews

Here at Trinity, we’ve grown a working ensemble to shout about, and we’re firm believers in having cast members that inspire and drive us.

To celebrate International Women’s Day, we’re going to be highlighting a number of our incredibly talented staff throughout the day:

Name and position at Trinity?

Sara Rice, Corporate Development Officer.

Who is your biggest role model?

There are so many incredible people who inspire me every day. I admire people who are kind, loyal, empathetic and have integrity, but also the courage and tenacity to help others and fight injustice. Jacinda Ardern has many of these qualities.

What’s your favourite aspect of working at Trinity?

A bit predictable, but the people! There are so many wonderful characters who bring creativity, fun, energy and humour to the place. Working at Trinity is a real joy.

How would the rest of #TeamTrinity describe you?

An IT guru?

What’s the one thing our Trinity audience might not know about you?

I worked with Dame Vera Lynn on a fundraising campaign called Tribute & Promise in 1995. The idea was to help WW2 survivors and their families who were struggling with hardship. We asked the public to give “fifty pence piece for fifty years peace” and launched it at the Cabinet War Rooms.

How have you been keeping busy through lockdown?

Reading (best book – Girl, Woman, Other by Bernadine Evaristo), walking Pickle the Poodle at Bedgebury Pinetum and Bewl Water, dreaming about and planning future holidays (eg an art trip to Paris with my daughter) and volunteering with the vaccination roll-out at Ticehurst Vaccination Centre.
